Sundance Resort, Mt. Timpanogos, and Bridal Veil Falls Tour

This will be a beautiful tour with Fall colors, stunning alpine scenery, and one of the most charming mountain resorts around, Robert Redford's Sundance.

From Salt Lake City we’ll head south to Provo Canyon and make a stop at beautiful Bridal Veil Falls. From there it’s a quick drive up to Sundance Resort which is nestled on the backside of majestic Mt Timpanogos. Sundance is a charming rustic resort that was founded by Robert Redford. It started in 1961 when he and his wife bought 2 acres. Throughout the 1960’s he would buy a little more land as often as he could. In his own words he would “Do another TV show, buy another acre,” until the late 60’s when his success in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid allowed him to make the “crazy” move to purchase the land of what became Sundance Resort in 1969.

At Sundance you’ll be able to walk along the creek, pines, and aspen or you can take a hike on the trails that head up the mountainside. Another option is shopping for souvenirs or clothing at the General Store. You’ll have two choices for lunch. A fine dining experience at the Foundry Grill or lunch at the cozy Sundance Deli and Coffee shop.
